New piece of evidence…

NEW EVIDENCE

Trying to solve your own daughter’s murder, without the help of law enforcement, has been like trying to put together a giant puzzle, with all those little puzzle pieces (evidence and facts) floating around above our heads, and every once in a while the right “piece” of that puzzle falls into place to help create the true picture of the crime.

Releasing any information about the evidence we have in Morgan’s case is a big decision – we get advice all the time that we shouldn’t release all the evidence – and we haven’t, and we won’t, but here is just another little piece that should be known. In most cases it is usually the sheriffs or police that are withholding key pieces of evidence, that only the killer would know, but in our case we didn’t have sheriff’s involved in investigating, so we’re the ones doing the investigating – we are the ones that have to be careful NOT to release all the evidence, so that one day, when Morgan’s murder case goes to trial, there will still be a chance for a prosecution.

It was a long time before we’d realize that it was up to us to investigate. We faced that harsh reality, that we have so painfully come to know – if Morgan is to receive justice one day, it is truly up to us, her family, to do the investigating. And with that in mind I would like to share this one piece of evidence, that we previously have not released…note the date and time on the picture when you follow the link below. Steve and I had just mounted a new wildlife camera above our back patio, and the next day it was no longer working (that should have been a clue to us). But on the day we hung it, September 26th, it was working, as you can see. Detective Glassmire had just come over to our house, arriving just before 5:00 pm. It was the first day we would meet him, as he had just taken over our felony stalking case. It had been 56 days since the start of this horrific stalking, and we finally had a Garfield County sheriff assigned to our case. http://morganingram.com/ wordpress/?p=1346 He asked us to walk him through the house, and all around the outside of the house, so we could all discuss the stalking events that had been happening since August 2nd. This picture just happened to be captured and preserved, showing the downed gutter at that time.

As we explained to the detective, this piece of gutter had fallen from our roof, right where the Aspen tree is located – the tree that we now know was used by the stalker as a ladder to climb onto our roof. This picture tells a story – it’s easy to look back now and get a far more complete picture of that story. If you read the timeline on my blog, you will read about the detective being at our house, but you will not read about this piece of gutter hanging down off the house, or the truth behind just this one tiny piece of evidence, that we still have waiting for the day when Morgan receives justice.

On this corner of the house, where the Aspen tree is, and the gutter was torn off, is the exact spot where the path that was worn into the berm behind our house that led right to that Aspen tree! http:// morganingram.com/wordpress/?p=744 and it is also where the motion light kept coming on and off, but by the time we looked out no one was there…of course they weren’t – they were on the roof by then. So you can now imagine, every time someone climbed up that tree, and grabbed hold of the roof, they were grabbing on to that piece of gutter. After so many times that corner metal piece of gutter was grabbed, it obviously snapped off from the stress of being bent and fell to the ground, still attached to the part that was attached to the roof.

Three weeks before we discovered this torn gutter had fallen to the ground, our other wildlife camera, in the front of our house, had taken a picture of one of the stalkers in our driveway, leaning against Steve’s truck, watching the sheriffs drive away. http:// morganingram.com/wordpress/?p=845 Ask any stalking task force officer, and they will tell you a stalker that is not fearful of law enforcement, and “taunts” them, as this stalker was doing, is the most dangerous type of stalker. Law enforcement needed to use a swift and effective stalking protocol to stop this stalker…but they did not.

If Detective Glassmire had asked the suspect, to assume the pose that is seen in the wildlife camera picture, and if he had compared him to that picture, I think there may have been a different ending to this story. I don’t think that would have been too much to ask. If the detective really wanted to have an effective intervention to stop Morgan’s stalking, but that never happened.

We have so many pieces of documented evidence that the sheriffs were aware of, but never pursued…and then it was too late. Too late for Morgan and too late for our family…Morgan lost her life and our lives will never be the same.

So a realization for me that I would like to share with you is this…if you are being stalked, and you feel like you are under siege, like we were, always do whatever it takes to protect yourself, keep a very detailed timeline, call the police every single time there is an incident, get yourself to a safe, unknown location, BUT don’t forget, make sure you ask for a copy of every report, and make sure there is a report. Look over the report and make sure what really happened has been written up in that report. If law enforcement is not doing this for you then you must then go speak with the District Attorney. If your stalking case ever does go to trial all these “little things” may add up to a really big picture that you just didn’t realize at the time. So many unusual things were happening to us during this stalking – we felt like we were under attack, and yet we were trying to keep living, hoping all the time that it would just stop, or that we would be moving out soon, we thought we could live with it until then…this was a very fatal way for us to have thought – please do not make the same mistake that we did. Any day can be your last day – we know that now. If you are being stalked, please learn from our mistakes, if you know anyone being stalked please share this information with them…by raising awareness you could be saving a life. Thank you so much!

Wow!!! What A Week…

After seven long years of doing our own due diligence, digging for the truth in our daughter Morgan’s case, facts upon facts, and evidence upon evidence, has been continually revealed to us, BUT this past week has been exceptionally revealing!

When people cover things up, and they continue to cover things up, that ultimately can become their undoing…I never would have thought that before, but now I do. The truth never changes and is always revealed in the end, as long as you keep at it, and never give up, justice will comehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cover-up

Again, I want to thank everyone involved in Morgan’s case – everyone who is Team Morgan. Every single one of you have been instrumental in getting us to this point in her case. Some of you have been subjected to harassment and threats, but you never backed off from doing the right thing.  Lies are being uncovered and criminal investigators, in top offices, can now see, in black and white, the trail of deception.

Do I think this is an isolated case of corruption? No, sadly I do not. Like someone told me a year ago, same story, different zip code.

As citizens of the United States of America, a country where our government promises oversight, in many cases like this, there is no oversight. And when that happens corruption is allowed to grow. Many people have told me over the years that we can’t fight this kind of fight, it’s useless…I guess I don’t believe in ever thinking anything is useless or impossible. In my heart I have always known there are really good people out in the world, those who still believe in justice, and want to make a difference, and I am so grateful that so many of those people have joined forces as Team Morgan, and guess what – they have, and are, making a HUGE difference! They will be the heroes of this story in the end – defeating the mythical dragon.

Morgan will get justice – this I firmly believe.

Happy New Year Everyone!

2018 was actually an amazing year in our pursuit of justice for Morgan.  There were major developments and huge revelations made…people came forward with new information and Team Morgan is doing amazing things!  I am so grateful for everyone who is helping on our journey to justice – you all know who you are.

That being said, I believe with all my heart that 2019 will be a magical year.

I promise to let you all know what is happening as soon as I can.  I always try to explain to other families that I work with, families who have had their loved ones violently taken from them as well, that no matter how impossible and painful it may be you should never give up on your journey to justice for your loved one, because even if everyone else believes it is impossible, that doesn’t mean it is impossible for you…every day now we hear about cold cases that are over 30 years old getting solved…arrests being made, convictions with predators being taken off the street. These are cases that most people never thought would be solved – but beyond all logic the families still hoped and they got their miracle.  So never ever give up – make possible what others think of as impossible!

On December 2, 2018 Remembering Morgan…none of us will ever forget her

Thank every one of you for burning a candle on Sunday in Morgan’s memory and praying for justice

One of Morgan’s cousins wrote:
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about my cousin Morgan is that she had the Biggest heart. She was always was there for me and she could make you smile just by being next to her. She was an Angel. Of course like all teenages she had spunk, but her spunk was beautiful. She was outgoing, caring, and a great listener. She was creative and everything she did perfectly. It was like she did a beautiful dance with everything she did. I do have to say before I continue this, it’s really weird to talk about her and use ‘would like’ was instead of ‘is’. I just cant get over the sadness I feel when I think of her and what happened, but then I see her face in my head and just by picturing her face, and knowing what kind of person she was, I feel better because she would be the first one to say, “Its ok and everything will get better there’s no need to cry and she would give this smile and and at that time you knew she was right.”
I have known Morgan since the day she was born. She was more like a sister to me. I know when it comes to friends and memories, the two just go together like coffee and mornings. Hahaha. I have so many memories with her because I use to live with them (my Aunt Toni & Uncle Steve), I can remember the dinner table talks, and when we use to babysit Morgan when she was little, but I think my favorite memory was the most recent and last one when we all went to Disneyland (this was just before they left to go back to Colorado and then the stalking started). It was at the hotel, we (Morgan & I) went downstairs while everyone was in the room and we just caught up on what was going on in our lives. It was a great talk about her friends and her dancing and I talked about what I’ve been up. We talked about how we don’t see each other enough and how I should just move back out there. I asked about the silly ferrets she had, and if she had gotten anymore pets. We talked about how cool it is that my daughter and her are Leos and that if I ever moved out there she would be my number 1 babysitter, and she was so happy because she just adored my daughter Christina. Oh, there’s one more memory I remember, I went out there (to Colorado) when I was pregnant and Toni and Steve were gone one afternoon, and they had this fish in their room. Something happened and the darn fish fell out of the bowl and was flopping around. We (Morgan and I) were screaming like little girls. It was really funny. I guess you had to be there.
The day my Aunt Toni called me to say “Morgan’s dead” – All I kept saying to Aunt Toni was NO, NO, NO I think that’s all I said the whole conversation. I couldn’t even talk. I dropped to my knees and started to cry. It felt like a dream. A really bad dream. After that there were just questions going through my head like how could this happen to someone like her. Why would God take someone like Morgan away from us. I felt like it didn’t make any sense and I was very confused.
People need to know when Morgan died we lost an Angel. We lost a soul that was the most caring and giving person in the world. I can only hope that my daughter grows up with the moral and respect and love that Morgan had. She put a extra pep in every step she walked on this earth and everywhere she went she touched people’s lives.  Morgan loved life and everyone around her.
Her murder has affected me tremendously and the reason is that we have no closure. I wish we could just find out who did this to her and give them the punishment they deserve and lock them up so they won’t hurt anyone else. I am sad all the time because of what they have taken from our family.
