Should victims of stalking in Colorado be in fear for their lives?

I will continue to post on this blog about things Morgan like to cook, things she loved to do, and activities that she enjoyed…all in an effort to continue to keep her alive in the minds and hearts of everyone she touched before a stalker took everything from Morgan.  I will not allow her memory to be stolen from us like her physical body was.

The last days of Morgan's bedroom windows with the blinds open...she loved light but didn't want someone peeking in at her.

The last days of Morgan’s bedroom windows with the blinds open…she loved light but didn’t want someone peeking in at her.

That being said, on this blog I would like to say something again about her stalking/murder, and subsequent misrepresentation of the facts of her case by not only law enforcement, but people out on the Internet, people that have no idea about the truth in this case.  What I would like them all to know is:

If the truth doesn’t come out in Morgan’s case then a predatory stalker/murderer (who in my opinion is a sexual sadist) will still be out there on the loose, and will most likely do this again.  We have pictures of the suspect at our house, Morgan identified him many times during the stalking, and the sheriffs knew exactly who the suspect was, and no the suspect was never “cleared”, in fact the following week after Morgan’s murder the “suspect’s” work hours were being collected to be compared to my timeline of the stalking events, Morgan was going to be giving her “official on tape” interview, and the felony stalking detective assured me that he was getting close to making an arrest.  Morgan was frightened, stressed, and exhausted from the stalking, and ultimately lost her life due to her stalker. I know the state of Colorado does not want this to happen to it’s citizens, but if they can not stop a law enforcement agency from lying about, and destroying evidence in a case so there can never be a case, then how can there ever be justice?  What does this say to other victims of stalking in Colorado – that they should be in fear for their lives?  Because so many who have reached out to me for help tell exactly that story – they fear for their lives.  A Garfield County Sheriffs Detective said, “There is no more Morgan, there is no more stalker,”, on the day she died.  Isn’t this sending a message to stalkers that if they kill their victim they won’t get arrested?  In the past Steve and I trusted law enforcement, but now we are far more skeptical.  And as for Garfield County, I have seen them at their worst, and it is not a pretty picture.  Many others have shared their personal experiences as well, and believe me it is not anything any “law abiding” department would be proud of.  And we truly hope when we are finally done with achieving the justice our daughter Morgan deserves, that all those involved in covering up this case will be held accountable.

Remembering Morgan in the kitchen… ♥︎

Throughout this blog I have tried to show others that never had the opportunity to meet Morgan just who Morgan was, how she chose to live her life, how she made a difference in the lives of others, and how her bright light is still shining to this day.  I don’t think I could ever explain Morgan with just words…but I have tried.  Morgan wasn’t just a victim of stalking…she wasn’t just a victim of foul play, her life meant so much more than how it ended.  Morgan was a real person, she lived life to it’s fullest, and lifted everyone up with her smile.  Morgan had hopes and dreams, she loved life.  So now I have decided to start to show everyone another part of Morgan – the Morgan that loved different types of food, and loved to share them with others.

Morgan enjoyed making special treats, and desserts for her family in friends.  Everyone was so happy to receive these wonderful gifts from the kitchen.  She would even go on Martha Stewart’s website and follow the directions to learn how to make special little gift boxes to enclose her home made food gifts – that was Morgan for you 🙂

In the last two years of Morgan’s life she also began to learn how to make some of her favorite entrees.  While flipping through some of the recipe books in my bakers rack the other day I came across some of the recipes she had marked in the book.  I started to cry, like I usually do when I miss her, but then I remembered how excited she was to go shopping for all the ingredients, and then cook the recipe for Steve and I, and then I started to smile.  At that very moment I decided I would share with all of you another passion of Morgan’s…cooking.

Morgan always chose organic, and locally grown over anything else, even for her puppies’ food she bought Crystal River Ranch free range beef to incorporate into her own home made dog food https://www.crystalrivermeats.com.  She always loved home made food over store bought food, and after doing some research she had also decided her puppy should eat healthy too.  I will try to find the recipe she used to cook for her puppy, but in the meantime I will start to share the recipes she used to cook for her grateful family.

Here is the first recipe I would like to share with you and in the future I will keep sharing as I come across all the different recipes that she used to make.

Shaping-Gluten-Free-Gnocchi-1Gnocchi with basil sauce.

♥︎ Ingredients to make the gnocchi

1 pound freshly boiled potatoes

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 egg, beaten

sea salt & ground black pepper

ground nutmeg

♥︎ Ingredients to make the pesto sauce

1 ounces of fresh basil leaves

1/4 cup of pine nuts

2 cloves of garlic

sea salt & ground black pepper

4 tablespoons of olive oil

the juice of 1/2 lemon

1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese

☞ Preparation time is about 25 minutes and cooking time is 15 minutes.  This recipe serves 4.

Serve with 2 tablespoons of butter and some grated parmesan cheese…enjoy!

First make the pesto: chop the basil and pine nuts roughly and put into a mortar with the garlic, salt and pepper.  Pound together until reduced to a think paste.  Transfer to a bow, add the oil, a little bit at a time, stirring constantly until thick.  Stir in the lemon juice and parmesan cheese, cover and set aside.

Then make the gnocchi: drain the potatoes well and shake over the heat to dry them thoroughly.  Mash the potatoes very finely, so that there are no lumps.  Beat in the flour, egg, salt, pepper and nutmeg.  Mix till it forms a dough and turn out on to a floured board.  With floured hands, roll small pieces of the dough into small croquettes, about the thickness of your thumb and cut them into bite size pieces.  Press lightly with the prongs of a fork creating four indentations, this will help them to hold the pesto sauce so you will have both the gnocchi and basil sauce in every bite.  Bring some salted water to a boil in a large pan.  Drop the gnocchi, a few at a time, into the boiling water and cook for 3 – 5 minutes.  The gnocchi will rise to the surface and float when they are cooked.  Remove and drain.  Arrange the gnocchi in a buttered serving dish and dot with butter.  Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and pour the basil pesto sauce over the top.

Morgan’s #murder discussed on the show Calling Out with Susan Pinsky

Today was the airing of the first episode of the new season of Calling Out with Susan Pinsky.  CALLING OUT, CRIMES: Sideshow Network Premiere Show: Co-Hosted by Podcast Pioneer Lynette Carolla

Please listen to the show, and share with others if you can.  Morgan’s case is discussed in the 3rd segment.  Her part starts at around the 32.30 mark.  My good friend Jennifer Shaffer is on the show, along with Rebecca Fearing who I had never spoken to before this show.  I am very grateful to Rebecca for her insight about Morgan, and Morgan’s case as well as much gratitude to Susan Pinsky for having Morgan’s case discussed on her first episode of this new season.
Announcing the airing of this show gives me the perfect opportunity to say something I don’t think I have mentioned up until now.  If law enforcement is investigating a crime and they interview someone off the street in order to get information to see if there is anything they “saw” or “heard” or anything out of the ordinary that may have happened this is known to be good police work.  Many times the things they hear or the people that call in with a “tip” don’t amount to anything,  but sometimes the “tip” about where to look for evidence or a description of someone actually leads to solving the crime.  A lead is a lead no matter where it comes from.  If that lead actually produces the physical evidence needed, or helps to locate a missing person then I am all for law enforcement using this method as a tool in their investigations.  Getting rid of the uneducated “stigma” about psychics is very important if the end goal is to solve a crime.  I feel that information that comes from a “credible proven” psychic should be looked into just as they would look into a regular citizen giving information.  There are psychics that work with the FBI and law enforcement throughout this country, and have for years, but there is still much resistance and prejudice against these types of “tips”.  It is very unfortunate that potential tips are dismissed like  that – a “tip” or information that comes from a psychic cannot be used in court, but it can be used to look for evidence, find missing persons, used as a guide for law enforcement as it has been throughout the years.  Just like with someone off the street that law enforcement might interview – it is all about following the leads…some leads are very good while others may not even be close, but law enforcement should use all methods available to them when trying to solve a crime, especially a heinous crime like Morgan’s…unless there is a reason that they do not want that crime to be a crime, and if that is the case then that in itself is a crime.
I just listened to the show for the first time from the link below on sound cloud – I just signed up with my email address and clicked through – it brought me right to the recording of the show.  As you can probably tell I was unable to hear some of what was being said during the recording so I sound a little hesitant when I answer, but I truly felt comfortable with the show and I think Susan’s show Calling Out is a wonderful program to listen to.  It is fun at times, and also very enlightening.
Here are the posted links for the newest episode of Calling Out with Susan Pinsky and the show’s debut on the Sideshow Network. Please promote any of the links below on social media as a means for listeners to check out the show and share amongst themselves. The Soundcloud link is preferred as it creates an embedded player in Twitter and FB posts but feel free to use any of the links:
Here is a link to Susan’s website about the podcast http://wp.me/p4aH1k-nD please click on to the site to read what Susan has written about Morgan’s case.
I will continue to pursue the opening of Morgan’s investigation with law enforcement as well as continue to do blog casts and radio shows until her case does get opened.  I want to raise awareness in all areas of stalking, and murder as well as criminal justice.  Please help me make a difference for victims of stalking… share with as many people as you can. Together we will be able to make a difference in many lives. I continue to believe there is so much light from the goodness in this world that even with the darkness that exists, justice for Morgan, and all others will come through love & perseverance…never give up!
Thank you so very much.

Another murder case in Colorado…called a suicide…covered up…now opened as a murder investigation

Reporter Justin Joseph of Fox31 News Denver helped the family of Ashley Fallis to uncover the facts and evidence about her murder, like in Morgan’s case Ashley’s death was being called a suicide.  A new investigation is now being opened!  I applaud this reporter and Fox31 News Denver for helping this family in their time of need to illuminate the truth!

Coming out of a long lull…Stalker / Murderer please beware – we are stronger than ever now ! ! !

Morgan 570

Looking through the so many photographs Morgan took this picture Morgan shot of the sun breaking out through the branches of the tree just reminded me of the strength and determination within Steve and I that has been quite for perhaps a little too long.   So after a long lull without writing on this blog I have decided to burst forward again now.  No more silence.

John Edward had posted that the greatest pleasure in life is doing something people say you can not do, and we WILL do this Morgan – that I promise you. It is taking a long time, but we won’t give up, and we will make sure the truth comes out no matter how hard people try to stop us – remember we NEVER GIVE UP!

I have been extremely hesitant up until now to share all the evidence we have that Morgan was murdered, and who murdered her.  I was hesitant, but at the same time I was releasing what I thought was enough information to help officials understand that this was an investigation that should be opened.  This is not really “my” evidence, but rather the professional opinions shared with us based on the facts of Morgan’s case.  As if a law enforcement agency had conducted an investigation into how – a young woman in excellent health and the victim of a felony stalking case was suddenly dead. Days after her stalking was thought to escalate by the lead investigator. When she was killed, the story slowly changed and grieving parents were far too trusting of those officials.

Since then, many tens of thousands of people have written in to us to tell us that they feel the same way we do and could not for the life of them figure out why the investigation had not been opened.  I felt that only a law enforcement agency should have all the evidence to be on the safe side, in order to get a conviction someday, but now I am not so sure it has to wait for that time to come.

So Steve and I have discussed this and decided that I should change this blog very soon – to change the story line to be all about sharing all the evidence of the excruciating story of Morgan’s murder, not just limit it to the title of Morgan’s Stalking and what has been told so far about her stalking.  However I can’t stress enough  how the story of Morgan’s stalking has opened many eyes around the world and I have been very blessed to have been able to share real life information with other stalking victims through this blog, information that ultimately was able to help so many victims of not only stalking but of vicious crimes against victims screaming for help.  Helping others will always be my path now, but it is time to come out fighting for Morgan once again…and trust me – we will be fierce and unyielding to those who were involved in her death. Our path will be the truth,  scientific, forensic, and undeniable.  Because when you come from the truth, it makes it extremely difficult for the wrongdoers and those who would protect them to hide behind their pat, but so far less-than-true answers.

I have recently had people send me emails about things that are being said on the Internet about me, Morgan, my family, supporters, and on and on.  The funny thing about what I am hearing is number one, none of these people knew anything about Morgan or our family.  None of these people knew anything about Morgan’s life…they didn’t know her as a free spirit, a lover of life, and most importantly, a devout helper of others.  They certainly weren’t able to even begin to see how horrific her stalking was, and how she tried her best to continue her life loving and helping others so as not to let someone else have control over her.  Morgan was always first and foremost a fighter. Morgan fought for herself and others so many times over the years…she fought with wit, dignity and perseverance.  If only she had been returned the love she gave in her death, instead of weak attempts to pretend it never happened at all.

I can try to tell you that the morning we found Morgan’s lifeless body was the worse day a parent could ever imagine, but no parent could ever give that instant the justice it deserves. Now, March 4, 2014, over 2 years removed from that unimaginable day and with so many experts weighing in on all the evidence, we not only know Morgan was murdered, but we also know it was a horrific murder, and Morgan did suffer.  Morgan even managed to leave a conclusive sign as to who the murderer was – we did not find this out until one year and 11 months after her murder.  The reason it has taken so long for us to learn what really happened to our youngest daughter Morgan is a story within itself.

To all of you who have supported Morgan (Team Morgan), and our fight for justice over these past two years, Steve and I are eternally grateful – we love you all, and we want you all to know that you have helped so many others besides just us.  You have given us strength, made comments with stories that have helped other victims feel empowered and not so alone in their own fight.  Your voices are being heard, and so is Morgan’s voice. I have always tried to keep this blog available as a tool for education, and comfort, and at the same time telling Morgan’s story for all to learn from.

But now it is time for me to start to reveal the darker and more insidious things that happened in order to show how really pathetic and ridiculous this is for Colorado to put up with this type of thing going on.  This is no longer the wild west where people get away with whatever they want to get away with.  Criminals should not be allowed to kill and kill again, over and over until someday maybe they are caught.  How many victims should there be?  What if one of the victims were your loved one, your child?  If the criminal had been caught right away (and yes there usually is some evidence and/or people who always know, but are afraid to tell) then how many innocent lives would have been saved?

This is our reasoning for changing the direction of my writing in the months to come.  The Aspen Daily News says on its front page, “If you don’t want it printed, don’t let it happen.” and emphatically, that is not only profound but it is what I believe, having learned the hardest way possible.  To those who have killed our child, stolen a precious soul from our world, and then lied about our family and threatened anyone that stands with us in truth or even the search for it – watch out…if you did it will now be printed.
