HI, I just read thoroughly through the entire website and I am saddened and angered. I feel for your family and especially your beautiful girl, Morgan. One thing just rings out in my mind the stalker seemed to know info that he shouldn’t; such as your guy’s texting when she would be home. Now you have mentioned iPhone multiple times, There is a function allowing you to “find your iPhone”–it literally will follow where the phone is travelling and you can have the information on whatever device your are using to locate your phone or in this case person. It is remarkably accurate. All the person has to do is figure out the password to your cloud and he is now in your phone–he can follow you, read your texts, etc. And this is a function built into iPhone’s, It is def a security breach. Also there are so many “stalker tools” you can download that turns your own phone into a listening machine even use the camera to see for them. It’s unbelievable.
Anyway, I had to mention this. I hope the best for your family.

At the time of Morgan’s stalking (2011) we did not have that app on our iPhones, but I was concerned about other kinds of stalking apps on her phone as well as her computer. I was also concerned about a GPS possibly being placed on her car. I did tell the sheriffs about my concerns but they never checked either device or the car. All they said was if her stalker had put something on her car then it was illegal and they could be arrested…a lot of good that did as they never checked to see if something was on her car.
At the time I should have tried to find a company that could check for us, but I did not know then what I know now about all of this. Now I can suggest things like this to other victims of stalking, and I wish that back in 2011 I could have had someone to talk to that could have directed me to do these kind of thing,s but I didn’t.
I really appreciate your information so other victims of stalking that are reading this might understand that these type of things really do exist and awareness and knowledge are key. Thank you so very much! Take care.
