Here is the link to the change.org petition that I just started – please sign it for Morgan

Friends,

I just created a petition entitled Colorado State Governor John Hickenlooper: We want Morgan Ingram’s felony stalking investigation reopened.

I’m trying to collect 100 signatures, and I could really use your help.

To read more about what I’m trying to do and to sign my petition, click here:

It’ll just take a minute!

Once you’re done, please ask your friends to sign the petition as well. Grassroots movements succeed because people like you are willing to spread the word!

Thank you all so very much!

Toni

  1. Is there a facebook button on there? I signed and would like to put it on my facebook, I am wondering if I am missing a button or if I should just copy the link.

    • Yes, if you look at the bottom of the blog (not here in the message section) there is a FB button that will allow you to share on your own page and or with others on in your friend list

  2. Toni

I am so happy for you right now. The petition is filling up fast. Go team Morgan!!!

  3. So its 845am on friday 10-19. You wanted 100 signatures and there are already 186 as of my signature…

  4. I just want to leave you with a thought after signing the petition, something I have been thinking a lot about since the squabble on comments the other day, the first time I had witnessed a bit of animosity on your blog;

I am sure we have all heard that saying, “the higher you climb, the more people are going to want to knock you down”. Well, that being said please be strong, because as you inch closer to your goal, the negativity will increase. Let that be a sign of your success and may it only make you stronger, in order to fight harder for the justice that Morgan and your family so truly deserve.

  5. I read your entire blog today. It is a scary and incredible story you are telling. I’m glad that you have the strength to continue to seek justice for your daughter. I signed your petition.

I lost someone significant in my life, only to have the case slammed shut it hour investigation. It is frustrating, infuriating and unfair.

Good luck in your journey. And I hope your heart heals more as time goes on (although I know other wise).

    Much love

  6. You know I def. signed this petition!! I PRAY for STRONG JUSTICE for Morgan!! She is LARGER than life and her Spirit is shining through today!! Nobody can break that… NOBODY!! Love and Light never-ending to you Toni and Steve!!

  7. Done. Her stalking definitely deserves some attention. I sincerely hope you get answers and the peace that you are looking for…

  8. Happy for an opportunity to do SOMETHING – ANYTHING to help other than offer our support through this blog! Shared on facebook!

  9. Signed and tweeted.

I’m a university student in the UK and I am really trying to encourage people to read this blog and sign the petition. Only nineteen myself, I feel both scared and equally encouraged by your words Toni. I wish this never happened, but, because it did, I will do anything to help. I tell everyone about Morgan and hopefully your case will re-open and this person or persons will be held accountable for what they have done. It’s been nearly ten years since I lost someone close to me. Although not in the same circumstance, the pain is still there. I was a child and it still hurt so I can’t imagine how it feels after all of the hard work you did for her.

I wish you all the best

  10. Signed:) Reading this is breaking my heart. I watched you on the Dr. Phil show and, was the first time I had heard of this case. Wishing you much success in finding justice for your daughter. God Bless you all.

    • Thank you so much Faith – it’s getting a little harder for us all now that the one year anniversary of her death is drawing near. We are so very blessed that we have such good support, and I feel so sad for the victims that don’t have that support, I don’t know what we would do without it.

  11. I just learned of your loss yesterday during a Dr. Phil episode repeat. I have been reading your blog from day 1 and it gives me chills. My heart breaks for you and Morgan as it is obvious she suffered greatly and law enforcement seemed to not treat the stalking with any sense of urgency. I signed the petition and hope this will re-open the investigation in order to bring closure to your family and justice for Morgan.
