  1. “Light A Candle”

    Light a candle,
    see it glow,
    watch it dance,
    when you feel low,
    think of me,
    think of light,
    I’ll always be here,
    day or night,
    a candle flickers,
    out of sight,
    but in your heart,
    I still burn bright,
    think not of sadness,
    that I’m not near,
    think of gladness,
    and joyous cheer,
    I have not left,
    I am not gone,
    I’m here to stay
    my loved one,
so when you light a candle
    and you see it glow
    and you watch it dance
    in your heart you’ll know
that I would never leave you
even when you feel so blue
I’m sitting up here with the Lord
    and now watching over you
    <3 RIP Morgan

    • Same to you all – Happy Thanksgiving and keeping us from disappearing under the covers – we do feel all the love coming our way and we really appreciate it.

    • Thanks jane – we have been keeping it burning since last year right after Morgan died and Steve’s sister gave it to us. We will always keep it burning – thank you for your thoughts during this holiday season…I don’t know what we were do without so much support.

  3. Thinking of you all this holiday season. My God hold you in his arms during this time of your greatest need

  4. God Bless you and your family! I’m so sorry for your loss! Morgan seemed like such a lovely young lady from reading your blog!

  5. Thanks Kristy – I remember sitting down and having such a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with Morgan last year and then we all took naps ,because we totally over ate…happy memories, and trying not to cry that there won’t be future ones with her, but also remembering she gave us enough to last a lifetime, and for that we are so very grateful.

      • I believe in Sherry, and I am praying that is exactly what happens once I meet with her and give her all of the evidence.

  6. Hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving. I think about your family and Morgan almost on a daily basis and hope your family finds justice. On a side note. I found out I was pregnant the day Morgan died. We named her Aubrey Morgan.
