On December 2, 2013, exactly 2 years after Morgan’s murder, her friend wrote the following heartfelt words:<\/p>\n

Today is just another day
\nToday is just a day…
\nThe day your battle became ours<\/p>\n

The day you were robbed, and us too
\nI loved you long before this day
\nI loved you for the hundreds that came before it<\/span><\/p>\n

Two years ago today you took the colors with you
\nleaving the snow you longed for behind
\nThe sunset and sunrise without your love burned redder in sorrow<\/p>\n

Mountains fell silent- void- of sound as you left
\nStillness-
\nSnow untouched, attempted to preserve the moments
\nStop the world from turning to keep you near
\n…but you had to go<\/p>\n

and I prayed for the first time
\n– wake up from this dream,
\nbut each day this dream turns more real
\nand you become the dream<\/p>\n

fading with every sunrise
\nThis world slowly filling with colors I thought I had lost forever
\nas now you are close in reveries of starry nights and philosophy<\/p>\n

today is just a day.<\/p>\n

All the words that matter are: I love you.<\/p>\n
