\"MorganMorgan & me on Christmas morning.<\/p>\n

Memories of all our Christmas’ up until 2011 when we lost Morgan. \u00a0I remember every happy moment. \u00a0Her favorite breakfast on Christmas morning was either her dad’s Macadamia Nut French Toast, or my Eggs Benedict…we took turns making a special breakfast every Christmas morning, and if her brother or sister happened to be in town they were over in a heartbeat for breakfast, and to open presents, directly following breakfast. \u00a0It was a relaxing day, cooking all day, football on TV, playing games, and then an early Christmas dinner with friends and family at our house.<\/p>\n

Morgan would always help in the kitchen. \u00a0Her brother and sisters were excellent chefs as well, always participating in the final menu. \u00a0Morgan was usually in charge of the desserts – her favorite thing to cook. \u00a0While I did the main course, her brother and sister worked on the side dishes. \u00a0After dinner there was lots of fun, usually ending in a late night. \u00a0The twinkle of the Christmas lights, Morgan playing her keyboard, and everyone singing Christmas carols – a magical time that can never be repeated as Morgan is no longer here, but when our family gets together on Christmas and we are all missing Morgan, we can still feel her. \u00a0My little granddaughter found a little ball with happy faces on it the other day and sent me a text to tell me it was from her Aunt Gigi (Morgan) – it was a present that just appeared and this little 6 year old was positive it came from Morgan.<\/p>\n

Christmas is bittersweet for our family, but we continued to be blessed with the wonderful memories Morgan left us with as well as the loving presence we still feel from her. \u00a0Believe in the magic…and celebrate the wonders with the ones you love.<\/p>\n
