Morgan went off the see some friends.\u00a0 She was having fun taking her puppy to the park in Carbondale.\u00a0 At 3:19 pm Steve sent Morgan a text, \u201cDid you mail the letter?\u201d\u00a0 Later that day I sent her a text at 6:14 pm saying, M – it\u2019s after 6 where are you?\u00a0 Did you know your voice mail is not connecting?\u201d\u00a0 At 7:03 pm Morgan sends a text back saying, \u201cWhat?!\u00a0 I hate my phone. Have you called me too?\u00a0 Is the mail place still open?\u201d\u00a0 At 7:34 pm I sent her a text back saying, \u201c No the mail place (P.O.) closed at 4:30 pm, it is now after 7:00 pm.\u00a0 I called and called – no answer, no message machine.\u00a0 You said you\u2019d be home at 6:00 to bury the ferret.\u201d\u00a0 (Her last ferret had died over the winter when the ground was still frozen, and we had made a plan to go bury it in the later afternoon. Morgan texted back, \u201cCall?\u201d\u00a0 I texted her back, \u201cI meant call me\u201d\u00a0 She texted back, \u201cCrap.\u00a0 Should we do it tomorrow?\u201d\u00a0 I texted, \u201cWhen will you be home?\u201d<\/p>\n

I am starting to get really worried about the strange tapping on her windows and wondering how does someone know within 15 minutes when she comes home?<\/p>\n

Morgan sends me a text, \u201cWhen do you need me?\u201d\u00a0 I text back, \u201cPlease be home by 10 – love you.\u201d\u00a0 Morgan texted back, \u201cDefinitely, love you more.\u201d \u00a0 I replied, \u201cNo way Jose.\u201d\u00a0 Morgan comes home from a friend\u2019s house and decides to shower in Toni\u2019s office bathroom @ around 10:10 pm (thinking it was safer since it was on the other side of house from her bedroom) within 10 minutes of her arriving home, and after undressing, she notices the obscured bathroom window is open about an inch, she gets a creepy feeling (your intuition always knows!), closes cranks closed the window – she hears a loud bang, bang on the window, it sounds like it\u2019s about to break from a fist hitting it, she grabs a towel, wraps it around her and runs into our bedroom.\u00a0 She is frightened out of her wits and tells us what happened.\u00a0 Her dad runs outside to see if he can catch the guy, but finds nothing.\u00a0 Morgan is so frightened she sleeps in my walk-in closet that night with her puppy.<\/p>\n

*Please note at this point we should have called the Sheriff\u2019s Office or 911, but decided the morning would be a better time to call in the light of day.\u00a0 By this time Morgan is so stressed out that she breaks out in a rash on her face and chest.\u00a0 I refuse to leave the house unless Morgan is not home\u2026I never leave Morgan alone anymore (except one morning for 20 minutes, and as you will see later on in this story, that was a huge mistake).\u00a0 Morgan always sends me a text or calls to tell me when she will be driving up the driveway\u2026I always meet her in the driveway carrying pepper spray when she drives up.\u00a0 This always happens up until, and including, the night Morgan died. \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
