\u00a0<\/a>Morgan has rocks against her windows again.\u00a0 It is early in the morning, she is not sure when, but does not want to wake up.\u00a0 She wants to sleep.\u00a0 Last night she thinks she drank something bad, and she felt funny at first.\u00a0 Tired and very uncertain, both at the same time.\u00a0 She did not like it at all and could not wait to leave where she was.\u00a0 She found help leaving and getting to somewhere that she felt safe.\u00a0 She had memories, but did not share them at first.\u00a0 She found\u00a0solace\u00a0in a couch and a friend to watch over her while she recovered. Read again on the previous post – the suspect, Keenan did not work that evening.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not knowing what had happened or who did it, she was very optimistic to be guessing at recovery times.\u00a0 Morgan was so used to bouncing back from anything that she thought this would be no different.\u00a0 She called last night to tell me what had happened and that she was going to be fine.\u00a0 She just wanted to sleep it off and then come home.\u00a0 She promised to call if anything changed.\u00a0 I trusted the person that was with her very much.\u00a0 I knew he would keep a close eye on Morgan and call me in an instant if anything did really seem amiss.\u00a0 For the moment she was just out of it.<\/p>\n

A little while later I had a change of heart and had her friend bring her home so I could watch over her too.\u00a0 To think that her stalker or his accomplices could have slipped something into her water was not out of the realm of possibility, and I decided not to take a chance. \u00a0Morgan always had her own water bottle with her, but didn’t always watch it when she was with those she thought were friends.<\/p>\n

In the morning Morgan did not look well. She was aware enough to know that 2 or 3 rocks had hit her windows in the early am \u2013 Morgan didn\u2019t know the exact time because she didn\u2019t want to wake us up \u2013 she said we would call the sheriff\u2019s and then she would be up all night again.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t tell her that her father and I had had essentially the same talk a couple of nights before.\u00a0 I told her it was important that we report every incident and that some day it will be very important.<\/p>\n

Morgan looked at me and said, simply, \u201cImportant to who?\u201d \u00a0We had reported so much to the sheriffs over the past months and they never changed their protocol – they were never going to change and in turn they would never catch her stalker.<\/p>\n

I told her in the afternoon when our time slots were with Monica to get our haircuts and I asked her is she wanted to go first or after me?\u00a0 She wanted to be there the whole time, because she thought I needed fashion help, and so we went together.\u00a0 Studio 2 in Carbondale is quiet and relaxing.\u00a0 Monica talked with us, and then when Morgan stepped into the side room for some tea \u00a0– Monica came almost running and bent over to whisper to me – Morgan looks like the life is getting sucked out of her by this f*****!<\/p>\n

Monica knew about Morgan\u2019s stalker and was a better judge than I, as she saw Morgan far less frequently than I. \u00a0I didn\u2019t know how to answer and I looked at Morgan in a new light when she returned.\u00a0 Se did look\u00a0undisputedly\u00a0like all of the pressure was wearing on her.\u00a0 She certainly was not herself. \u00a0I took a picture as we left and she was so happy, so glad that we had spent the afternoon together. \u00a0She was talking\u00a0 about becoming a yoga instructor to supplement her income while going to college (her classes were to start in January). \u00a0 She explained how she was going to make Steve and I go to her classes.\u00a0 How good it was going to be for us…<\/p>\n

Today is October 31, 2012<\/strong> \u2013 Halloween is in full swing. \u00a0Someone passes out candy and we sit in front of an inviting fire. \u00a0Friends we haven\u2019t seen in so many months are stopping by to say hi.\u00a0 I will easily admit that I tear up when I look at the picture I took of Morgan on our beauty salon day.\u00a0 It was too much for her.\u00a0 Being stalked is too much for anyone.\u00a0 She was such a brave girl, and Steve always say now that it is not fair she had to be such a brave girl.\u00a0 And he is right!\u00a0 It is not fair that those who had jobs did not do them, not at all.\u00a0 A stalker came to our house at night at least five times a week. The sheriffs knew who it was – knew where he worked, but could not manage to follow him or stake out a time and a place in order to have fast intervention. \u00a0They knew the stalking was escalating – what did they think the outcome would be? \u00a0 Much easier now to say he never existed.\u00a0 I already did a blog on that once before, don\u2019t think I should have to again.<\/p>\n

There is a thought that has been with me today – caught in the act.\u00a0 Our stalker was never really caught in the act.\u00a0 Never positively caught in the act by the sheriff’s deputies.\u00a0 Does that mean my daughter Morgan or Steve & I never had a stalker?\u00a0 Hardly.\u00a0 Let\u2019s talk serial killers for a moment.<\/p>\n

The Green River Killer had 39 to 78 murders to his credit.\u00a0 Served in the armed forces, was married once.\u00a0 As a young child, Ridgway was tested with an\u00a0I.Q.<\/a>\u00a0of 82.\u00a0 Ever caught in the act?\u00a0 No, it was DNA that caught him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our local murderer, Ted Bundy, did 30 murders in four years.\u00a0 Ever caught in the act?\u00a0 No, it was evidence found in his car that finally convicted him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Richard Ramiriez, the night stalker, I was in LA at that time and people were really scared.\u00a0 \u201cA living nightmare, a boogey man who invaded bedrooms and tore innocent people from their dreams.\u201d \u00a0Cases\u00a0too numerous to count.\u00a0 But was he ever caught in the act?\u00a0 No, it was a description of his car as he fled the scene that aided in his capture.<\/span><\/p>\n

I could go on all night with this. \u00a0Rarely are they caught in the act. \u00a0Yet Morgan, described his car with him in it \u2013 but the car was never stopped.\u00a0 A neighbor described evidence in his car \u2013 but it was never searched for that evidence.\u00a0 Was his DNA found in her room \u2013 no, maybe because they never looked.\u00a0 Of course under the crime scene lights they saw \u201csuspicious spots on Morgan\u2019s chest \u2013 never seen or checked by the pathologist.\u00a0 The first responders saw defensive wounds on her right hand, top and bottom \u2013 never seen or checked by the pathologist. \u00a0And all the while Steve & I thought they were doing their job – we trusted them.<\/p>\n

A professional nail artist pointed out massive damage to her nails, never seen or checked by the pathologist.\u00a0 DNA collected from Morgan\u2019s body recovered from a room where it was obvious to all except the Garfield County sheriffs that a struggle had taken place – No,\u00a0ZERO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Secondary testing to verify the very lethal DATE RAPE COCKTAIL found in her stomach \u2013 Nope,\u00a0ZERO<\/strong>.\u00a0 Collection of \u201cgranular substance\u201d identified in her stomach after ten months and credited with the verification of the finding of suicide \u2013 No,\u00a0ZERO<\/strong>. \u00a0Testing of the mystery substance –\u00a0No, ZERO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Budget for the contracted forensic pathologist to do a first class job \u2013 over a half million a year.<\/p>\n

I think they were not looking for evidence, and I would like to know why.<\/p>\n
